White Oak Estates is Hiring a Bookkeeper Near Oskaloosa, IA
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with experience using QuickBooks. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and ensuring that all financial documents are filed in a timely manner. The successful candidate will organize, record and manage financial data and be responsible for running payroll for our employees as well as creating statements for customers. This opening is part-time (8-16 hours per week), but has a very flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and balance sheets from financial data.
- Determine taxes owed to the Internal Revenue Service and state agencies.
- Complete taxes using tax preparation software or other methods.
- Understand financial and tax laws.
- Perform calculations based on numbers.
- Payroll for employees as well as track vacation and sick time.
- Monthly statements for customers.
